We’re started off with the waygu gyoza and spicy tuna hanabi which were great. The main issue we had was that we waited almost an hour between our starters and main rolls that we ordered. our server was great and she even offered us some miso soup on the house because of our wait. Overall the food was great but we were dissatisfied with the wait. We saw the general manager go to every table and check on them except for ours which we assumed is because he knew we had waited a long time and did not want to apologize.

We decided on Sushi Roku Austin, and from the moment we sat down, it was clear this was more than just a sushi dinner—it was a thoughtfully curated dining experience. We tried the lunch special here and it offered decent value on paper. We started with a cold Asahi beer and a vodka lychee martini. Unfortunately the martini was far too sweet, it was made with lychee syrup rather than real lychee liqueur, which I much prefer. The hand rolls were just okay, nothing special. The condiments on the nigiri were quite strange and didn’t really work. The standout by far was the hand-cut spicy tuna roll, very tasty and fresh. The cool modern interior and clean facilities are definite pluses. However, service started strong when we asked to sit at the bar but became slow and flat as the meal went on. Overall we ended up paying over $117 for what was meant to be a light lunch with just two drinks. While the lunch special seems like good value compared to à la carte, the food was mostly average and the experience felt quite disappointing for the price

I had a great experience at Sushi Roku. The atmosphere is sleek and modern, but still feels relaxed enough to enjoy a laid-back night out. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered the White Lotus Roll, and it was absolutely incredible—beautifully presented, fresh, and packed with flavor. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. Overall, Sushi Roku is a fantastic spot for great sushi and a stylish dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.

Strolled in one day and this has been my third time in… over the course of 7 days lol found my new spot! Staff is very welcoming, drinks are great and most importantly the atmosphere and sushi are perfect. Try the Wagyu roll… it melts like butter EDIT: Back again! Hits EVERY TIME… don’t sleep on this spot… they will make me bankrupt 😂 so good! Sam is the man!
